Ratchamanu Fires Warning Rounds After Myanmar Bullets Cross Border
Ratchamanu Special Forces fired warning rounds at the Mae Sot border on Nov. 3 after stray bullets from Myanmar clashes landed in Tak province
The Ratchamanu Special Forces (Naresuan Force) fired illumination rounds as a warning at the Mae Sot border at 7:15 PM on November 3, following the discovery of stray bullets from clashes between Myanmar troops and ethnic armed groups that landed on the Thai side in Mae Sot district, Tak province. The unit has since tightened security with increased patrols and surveillance along the border to prevent any cross-border support for combat operations and to protect local lives and property.
