A popular Facebook analysis questions the circumstances surrounding a tiger attack on a Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary official, Sakrin Vichajaroen, who was killed after a tiger dragged him from his sleeping quarters in an open-sided shelter. The Thailand Tiger Project DNP page posted a detailed behavioral analysis on August 5, 2026, noting the absence of blood droplets at the scene, no signs of struggle, and questioning whether the victim was in such deep sleep that he felt nothing from the tiger's claws and fangs.

The analysis examined the scene at the Kham Makham kitchen shelter, a low-fenced open structure where tiger paw prints are commonly found. Evidence showed the tiger carried the man over the fence easily without using designated walkways, yet no blood was found in the sleeping area. A blood-stained mosquito net was discovered about 15 meters from the building, but no blood trail was visible between the initial location and where the body was found.

The post noted that this behavior contradicts typical tiger hunting patterns and is highly unusual, as tigers normally avoid humans who move. It emphasized that such an incident does not represent normal predatory tiger behavior and called for waiting on autopsy results before drawing conclusions or implementing prevention measures.
