On August 16, the National Science Museum (NSM) joined with Pan Cosmetic and Rajathewi Clinic to open an exhibition titled "The Science of True Beauty" (Decode Your Skin, Discover Your Beauty Destination) at the 2026 National Science and Technology Festival held at Impact Muang Thong Thani. The event was attended by Suwrong Wongsiri, acting director of NSM, and Akkarawut Suwannaprakorn, deputy chief executive officer of Pan Cosmetic and Rajathewi Clinic, along with executives from both organizations. Celebrity guests included renowned actors such as Sarawat Teppitakson with his daughter, as well as popular T-pop artists JAY DICE and ALEX DICE, who served as guides for the exhibition. The atmosphere was lively, filled with enthusiastic cheers from young fans attending the science festival.
Suwrong stated that NSM's primary mission is to develop learning resources and create science experiences to enhance public and youth understanding through out-of-classroom learning via various scientific activities and exhibitions. The collaboration with Pan Cosmetic and Rajathewi Clinic, which is approaching its 50th anniversary, represents a strategic partnership combining deep expertise in skin science with NSM's science communication capabilities to promote health and beauty literacy among the public.
The exhibition aims to raise awareness and inspire interest in biomedical science through learning about skin and beauty from a scientific perspective. It encourages people to apply knowledge for proper, evidence-based skin care and inspires youth to consider careers as cosmetic scientists, which will be vital for strengthening Thailand's health and beauty industry to international standards. The exhibition runs until August 23. Pan Cosmetic and Rajathewi Clinic's representative emphasized that the exhibition presents beauty science in an engaging way, promoting professional skills for students and future researchers in medical science, cosmetic science, and dermatology under the concept "True Beauty—real beauty must be calculated."
