Songkhla Approves 2.4 Billion Baht Budget to Repair Homes Damaged by Flooding Across 112,927 Households

Songkhla has approved funds to repair flood-damaged homes affecting 112,927 households across 16 districts, with a total budget of 2.407 billion baht and gradual fund transfers beginning April 24. At the Hat Yai District Office, Romdon Hayeewaew, deputy governor of Songkhla, chaired the 12th provincial disaster relief committee meeting of 2026 to finalize assessments of household damage from recent flooding in Songkhla Province.
Today's meeting approved an additional 14,565 households for assistance totaling 714,054,341.37 baht, bringing the complete relief program to 112,927 households worth 2.407 billion baht combined. Officials confirmed that comprehensive assistance has been approved across all areas of the province. While approximately 90,000 of these households are located in Hat Yai District, the remaining 15 districts of Songkhla have also received complete approval for relief assistance and funds are being transferred in installments.
