Teh Piraphat Thrilled by Buzz After Revealing Mentors for The Face Thailand Season 7, Hinting at Secret Contestant

The Face Thailand Season 7 is generating significant buzz even before it airs, after prominent show creator Teh Piraphat Galp Jareuik revealed details at the Thailand International LGBTQ+ Film & TV Festival 2026 (TILFF2026) at Kantana Virtual Production Studio. He disclosed that this season marks the first time the show has unveiled mentors in advance, resulting in increased applications from contestants who now have visibility into which team they might join.

Teh confirmed that the season will feature three teams and four mentors, though one mentor remains unconfirmed pending scheduling coordination with global brand partners and broadcast timing. He noted that revealing mentors early is a new strategy for The Face Thailand platform, as previous seasons kept mentors secret until the show aired. The advance announcement has proven beneficial for recruitment, and he revealed the show is currently negotiating with the final mentor.

Regarding the secret mentor's identity, Teh explained the delays stem from complex scheduling requirements. The production must align mentor availability with filming schedules to ensure an end-of-year broadcast, while simultaneously coordinating with global sponsors for synchronized brand launches worldwide. Despite these challenges, he assured that the three previously announced mentors are confirmed, with formal confirmation of the fourth mentor expected soon.

When asked about pressure following previous seasons' success, Teh acknowledged the challenge of competing with their own track record. He expressed gratitude to sponsors, mentors, and contestants who continue to support The Face Thailand platform, adding that the team is committed to delivering an equally strong season despite economic and social headwinds.
