Pancake Teases Secret Role in Netflix Series Alongside Face Thailand Season 7
Actress Pancake teases her mysterious role in Netflix's "Plerng Phra Nang" while preparing to mentor on The Face Thailand Season 7 alongside new judge Cindy, describing the competition as harder than previous seasons.
Pancake Khemanit Jamikorn has teased playing Tawan Thip, a mysterious character who triggers everything in the Netflix series "Plerng Phra Nang." Fans are now keeping a close eye on this new character in the series, who is described as not soft-hearted but strong and ready to fight, with the powerful line "Whatever is ours must be ours."
At the launch event for The Face Thailand Season 7 at Screening Room Kpost, Pancake discussed returning to the mentor chair once again. When asked if she seems more powerful this season, she explained: "For The Face Thailand Season 7, it's something new. We can already see what they're capable of and what fun they bring. Part of my enjoyment since previous seasons has been the fashion and changing clothes—I feel like it's always been fun for me. I try to change outfits whenever I want and give myself the chance to explore new character types, cool ones, cute ones, sexy ones, subtle ones, bold ones, mixing it all up."
Asked how she's preparing to face both familiar and new mentors, Pancake said: "I'm mentally and physically prepared. With Antonia, we've worked together before so I know her style. As for Cindy, she's been my idol since childhood—she's a walking icon. Honestly, I was a bit nervous, but a competition is a competition. I want to have fun and really see how she works as a mentor. This season is definitely harder and doesn't go easy on us mentors. There's so much for me to adapt to and learn as well."
When asked who clashed more with whom, Pancake laughed: "From what I see, those two clash with each other, so I just sit back and laugh instead. I let them handle it. We're three people with three different styles and work experiences, so our approaches are quite different. But overall, I want to focus on the contestants because this generation is truly talented."
On whether she's confident about keeping the championship title, Pancake said: "I'm not too attached to it. I need to be careful with my words, right? Either way, I want to give my all. Wins and losses happen. But I have to say the contestants are skilled and hardworking. When we won before, we gave our all, and this time I have confidence in our team. Everyone is doing their best in their own way. Our preferences and the judges' preferences might differ. What fits my taste might not be what they like. So there are many measures and deciding factors. But what's important to me is maintaining the standard of my work and passing it on to the contestants so they can continue developing. I'm excited to cheer them on because they're talented, many are quite prepared, and some come in as dark horses with such fighting spirit. That's what I want to see, and these contestants will inspire many people watching the show."
