Thai dragon boat teams claimed two silver medals in 400-meter races at the Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China, finishing their campaign with one gold, four silver, and one bronze across six events.
Thai dragon boat teams competed in the 400-meter dragon boat races at the 6th Asian Beach Games held in Sanya, Hainan Province, China on April 26, 2026. Both the men's and women's teams brought home silver medals in their final competition of the Games.
The men's team gave an all-out effort to cross the finish line in second place with a time of 1:35.614 minutes. China claimed gold with 1:34.990 minutes, while Hong Kong took bronze with 1:40.188 minutes.
The women's team faced a strong Chinese squad that led from the start. Despite Thailand's determined pursuit, they could not catch up. China finished first with a time of 1:48.899 minutes to win gold, with Thailand taking silver at 1:51.704 minutes and Vietnam securing bronze at 1:53.098 minutes.
Overall, Thailand's dragon boat team competed in six events and earned one gold medal, four silver medals, and one bronze medal at the Asian Beach Games.
