The Damrongchai Tham Foundation received the National Outstanding Children and Youth Award in the organization category for education, sports, and recreation, in conjunction with National Youth Day 2026, arranged by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, together with the scholarship students of the “Create People, Create Graduates” program.

Led by Tanapat Thetsenok, a 24/2568 scholarship student studying Educational and Counseling Psychology and Special Education at Chulalongkorn University, who received the National Outstanding Children and Youth Award in social and community development; and Wanfirdao Wae‑te, a 25/2569 scholarship student majoring in Political Science and Public Administration at Chiang Mai University, who received the award in mass communication.

This marks another source of pride for the foundation and its scholarship recipients, reflecting the long‑term commitment of foundation chairman Preebun Damrongchai Tham, who has supported youth for over 28 years through the “Create People, Create Graduates” initiative. The program grants scholarships to academically good, well‑behaved youths lacking financial means, without requiring repayment, hoping graduates will return benefit to society under the motto “Not just to grow, but to grow well.”

Tanapat Thetsenok said, “I feel delighted and honored to receive this award. It is not only a source of pride but also an important motivation that encourages me to study harder and develop myself further. I want to use this opportunity to give back, applying my knowledge and experience for the benefit of society.”

Wanfirdao Wae‑te added, “Thank you to the Damrongchai Tham Foundation for providing me with educational opportunities that let me pursue my interests and grow. This award drives me to study diligently and acquire as much knowledge as possible, so I can apply what I have learned for social benefit. Finally, I congratulate all children and youth, as well as every award recipient.”
