Anti-Corruption Youth Media Campaign Wins National Award

The National Anti-Corruption Fund has backed youth media initiatives aimed at raising awareness of anti-corruption issues. Two programs—the pilot Anti-Corruption Youth Ambassador training and the creative drama workshop "Youth Won't Tolerate Corruption: Eastern Region"—have produced high-quality dramatic and news media that have won awards.

Ladda Duansawang, Director of the Anti-Corruption Prevention and Suppression Strategy Office at the National Anti-Corruption Commission, accepted the Dhanandhorn 4 Trophy for 2025 on behalf of the Youth Anti-Corruption Ambassador team from Sirirat School at the Government Public Relations Department auditorium. The award-winning work includes ten creative youth dramas from ten schools and video clips and interview-based news content from the pilot ambassador program, supported by the National Anti-Corruption Fund. Over 100 clips have been broadcast on Royal Thai Army Channel 5 and social media.

Julaphakwat Srisuwang, Managing Director of Maharaj Entertainment Company and manager of both projects, said: "I'm very pleased that the media produced by the young people—both the creative dramas and news clips—are the result of their collaboration with professional media teams. These high-quality works have reached youth across the country and won recognition from national media organizations like the Thai Journalists Association. I want to thank Ladda Duansawang for presenting this important award alongside our youth anti-corruption ambassador team from Sirirat School. I also thank the principals, administrators, teachers, and students from twenty educational institutions who participated in this year's creative youth anti-corruption media project, and the National Anti-Corruption Fund for its ongoing support. This award belongs to everyone who contributed. Most importantly, the media produced with young people's participation serves an educational purpose and raises awareness of anti-corruption issues among youth nationwide through television and social media."

The Thai Journalists Association presented the Dhanandhorn 4 Trophy for 2025 at the Government Public Relations Department auditorium on Rama VI Road, Bangkok. The event marked the tenth year of celebrating journalists, media organizations, and individuals who have contributed to society and the nation. The ceremony on September 9 was attended by prominent media figures, broadcasters, influencers, and entertainers, including Anchali Prairuak, Dr. Mallika Boonnimitrakan, Anchalee Kusoom, and others.
