The Thai Khom Foundation supported the 12th "Walk Run Bike Fighting Stroke" campaign (WRB12) on November 1, 2026, at Mahidol University's Salaya campus. The event was organized by Siriraj Hospital's Stroke Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, together with the King Yubharat Hospital Foundation, Siriraj Foundation, Thai Khom Foundation, and over 40 public and private network partners. It honored His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen while campaigning for stroke prevention awareness under the concept "Stroke: 4 Diseases, 6 Behaviors, Know and Act to Prevent."
The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Thara Wongviriyangkur, First Vice Dean and Vice Dean for Sustainable Integration, representing the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, along with Associate Professor Dr. Yongchai Nilanon, Director of the Siriraj Stroke Center. Attendees included Khunying Pajaman Damapong, Vice Chair of the Thai Khom Foundation; Khun Banphot Damapong, Chair of the Thai Khom Foundation; Khun Phinthongta Chinnawat Khunakhong, Director and Secretary of the Thai Khom Foundation; and Khun Natthaphong Khunakhong, CEO of SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited.
The walk, run, and bike activities took place simultaneously nationwide. This year, 469,032 participants registered, reflecting the collective power of all sectors in promoting Thai awareness of exercise and behavior change to reduce stroke risk.
Over the past 10 years, the Thai Khom Foundation has continuously supported Siriraj and its network partners in stroke prevention awareness and the Mobile Stroke Unit project since its first vehicle. This aims to increase access to rapid diagnosis and treatment for patients, especially in remote areas, reducing disability and death from stroke.
The Thai Khom Foundation believes good health is a crucial foundation for developing quality of life and Thai society. It remains committed to collaborating with network partners to promote equal access to healthcare for all Thais and build a sustainably healthy society under the concept "Know and Act to Prevent," starting with daily health care and behavior change for long-term health.
