Thai Post has elevated its partnership with Thaipre Insurance to a strategic alliance, using data, technology, and postal networks to advance digital-era insurance access. On July 27, Danun Supattraphan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Thai Post Company Limited, announced that the collaboration aims to enhance and increase convenience for Thai citizens to access insurance services through Thai Post's nationwide channels and network.

The partnership transitions from a decade-long collaboration into a strategic alliance to drive comprehensive digital services, combining technological expertise, data, and postal networks across Thailand to make insurance services more accessible to the public. The partnership emphasizes streamlined operations and readiness to develop new digital services collaboratively in the future. Citizens will be able to access insurance products both at Thai Post offices and through digital channels, such as QR code scanning from promotional materials, with secure data system integration compliant with legal standards.

Somporn Subthavilkul, Managing Director of Thaipre Insurance Company Limited, stated that the partnership represents a combination of both organizations' capabilities to expand access to insurance coverage through a nationwide service network, alongside developing digital innovations and services that will enhance customer experience in the future.

Thai Post currently operates more than 10,000 postal offices and partner service points across the country, covering every district and subdistrict in all 77 provinces, including remote areas. Thaipre Insurance offers diverse insurance products including travel insurance, accident insurance, fire insurance, and pet insurance.
