On the occasion of the King's 28 July birthday celebration and the tenth anniversary of his reign, government, private sector, and civil society organizations are uniting to reaffirm their commitment to the royal initiative of "inherit, preserve, and advance" through coordinated implementation of nationwide development projects. Applying royal direction, they aim to elevate the economy, society, and environment to enhance the quality of life for all citizens and ensure long-term national security.
The Thailand Supply Chain Network (TSCN), Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, and partner organizations held an event titled "A Decade of Development: Inherit, Preserve, and Advance Under Royal Grace" to honor the King while declaring multi-sector resolve to implement the foundational royal mandate: "Inherit, preserve, and advance, and govern the realm with righteousness for the lasting benefit of the people." The initiative integrates knowledge, innovation, and participation from all sectors to create balanced, sustainable growth across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.
The event, held at the Plenary Hall of the Sirikit National Convention Centre, drew over 600 attendees representing government bodies, private enterprises, civil society networks, and youth organizations, including the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Interior, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Office of the Fiscal Policy, the Joint Private Sector Committee, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), the Thai Bankers Association, community networks, and youth groups from various fields such as cultural heritage youth networks, Win Win WAR Thailand, OTOP Junior, and young athletes. These representatives collectively committed to passing forward the principles of "inherit, preserve, and advance" to the next generation in alignment with the royal development legacy of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and continuing into the present reign for the welfare and security of the nation.
Thapon Sirivattanaphakdi, co-founder of TSCN and Chief Executive Officer of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, stated: "The event aims to honor the King and showcase projects where all sectors have adopted the foundational royal mandate of 'inherit, preserve, and advance' as guidance for developing initiatives with positive local impact that benefit communities, society, and the nation. This marks the beginning of elevating individual agency projects toward national-level cooperation, to preserve what is valuable, safeguard resources and wisdom, and advance toward sustainable economic development and improved quality of life for the people."
He added: "To strengthen and secure communities, grassroots economic development has been driven through the operations of the Pracharaj Raksamerklai Social Enterprise Company (Thailand) Limited, which operates nationwide and in every province, and has advanced toward the 'With Love and Loyalty Project,' creating community benefits and citizen happiness through the establishment of the Strong and Self-Sufficient Community Company (Thailand) Limited."
