After borrowers posted complaints on social media on July 8 about automatic deductions from their savings accounts, GYSH issued a statement on July 9. Deputy Manager Anjali Phuriwitwattana, acting as the fund's manager, explained that July 5 is the annual repayment deadline for all GYSH borrowers. The fund allows borrowers to pay voluntarily, but if payments are missed or incomplete, GYSH proceeds with automatic debit from the account used to receive living stipends, as stipulated in the loan agreement. This year, GYSH processed automatic deductions for 74,337 accounts on July 8, targeting borrowers with overdue balances. The collected funds are returned as revolving capital to provide ongoing educational opportunities for future students and help disadvantaged Thai youth access education and build secure futures. Dr. Kong, officially Lt. Col. Nawapon Subunja, has recounted his quick response to help a patient experiencing seizures and bleeding in a shopping mall, emphasizing that calling 1669 should be the immediate priority. The National Institute of Emergency Medicine recognized his swift action in assisting the patient.

On July 9, Dr. Kong, participating in the 10th "Walk with Dharma" charity run at Boworniwet Temple's 100-year building, shared details of the incident and provided first-aid guidance.

"I happened to be at the mall and was about to leave when I noticed people looking at something, so I looked too," Dr. Kong explained. "I found a person lying down with commotion around them. I wasn't the first to notice the patient—another man was already there supporting the patient's head. When I checked, we learned the person was having a seizure, fell, and hit their head, with blood in their mouth.

"The first thing I wanted everyone to know is to call 1669. Don't overthink it. Helping someone is important, but remember we don't have medical equipment. So the first step is calling 1669. While we wait for them to arrive, we can assess the patient's condition."

Dr. Kong emphasized critical precautions: "If someone is still seizing, we must prevent their condition from worsening—watch for cardiac arrest and protect their airway from tongue biting. One major misconception is inserting a spoon in the mouth during seizures—this is absolutely prohibited. Instead, gently turn the patient to prevent tongue biting due to muscle tension. If the patient's heart hasn't stopped, there shouldn't be serious complications. Just wait for 1669 and hope the seizure stops. Once it does, you can communicate with the patient."

He added: "Calling 1669 is already helping because they arrive quickly and have proper equipment. If there's no cardiac arrest, basic care is sufficient. When calling 1669, don't be annoyed by their detailed questions about the patient's name, address, and health coverage. They ask many questions because they're simultaneously dispatching help. Modern technology automatically locates you via satellite. They ask these details to prepare proper medical response and determine the appropriate hospital based on the patient's insurance status, as sending every patient to the nearest hospital creates legal and financial complications."

The 'LEARN Mobile' initiative transforms communities into dynamic learning spaces by empowering local elders as teachers and sparking children's enthusiasm for education. The Social Promotion Foundation (สสส.) has partnered with Asorom Institute and Bangkok through the 'LEARN Mobile Community School' Open House initiative, bringing student and teacher representatives from 12 schools in Bangkok and other provinces on learning journeys rooted in real community settings. The program employs Community-Based Learning (CBL), a model used by leading schools worldwide, to create authentic learning experiences through collaboration between schools, communities, and local residents.

Niramol Rasri, director of the Social Promotion Foundation's Health Promotion Office, emphasized the foundation's commitment to building an Active Society, particularly among children and youth who currently lack sufficient physical activity according to WHO standards. Community-based learning helps children develop through hands-on practice, physical movement, self-discovery, and connecting knowledge to real community life. Writer Lab CEO Yodh Sukwivatana has unveiled the Lady Bee film project, a classical adaptation of the famous literary work Jundara that offers a fresh perspective by centering on a female character. Rather than following the protagonist Jan as in the original, this version tells the story through the eyes of Khun Boonluang, or Lady Bee, allowing audiences to understand this character with greater depth while respecting the core elements of the source material.

The production assembled an all-female creative team—including director, cinematographer, production designer, costume designer, and set coordinators—to authentically convey the female perspective throughout the filmmaking process. Actress Ingfah was recommended for the lead role by international talent agencies who recognized her potential and star quality from previous work, as well as her appeal to foreign markets. The team had previously brought Ingfah to the Cannes Film Festival to meet potential international buyers.

The script development involved extensive research and collaboration across departments, with input from marketing and distribution teams from the outset. Thai films currently benefit from government tax incentive programs, and Thai content is gaining recognition among foreign studios for both creative talent and professional budget management.

The primary target markets are across Asia—particularly China, Indonesia, and Vietnam—which show strong cinema growth and box office performance. Western markets, including the United States and Europe, are being approached through international film festivals and the marketplace, given current international demand for feminist-themed cinema.
