Thanatcha Suksod expressed gratitude to her GS Caltex Seoul teammates for their seventh KOVO Cup victory, saying she felt proud of their achievement even though she could not be there to celebrate in person. She explained that her decision to step away from the national team was not due to a lack of desire to play for Thailand, but because she felt the environment was unfair and that her mental health could not withstand the pressure. Thanatcha revealed that she had been struggling with accumulated stress and emotional strain from her time with the national team, compounded by the recent loss of her beloved grandmother, who had raised her since childhood. She emphasized that her love for representing Thailand and playing volleyball remains strong, but she needed to prioritize her well-being and could not continue to harm herself mentally. Thanatcha urged the public not to misunderstand her intentions, stating she was not seeking sympathy or trying to create drama, but simply being honest about why she could not participate.
