Thai Volunteer Uses Miss Thailand Pin to Fund Charity
Thai volunteer and image expert Chanipa Na Nakhon is raising funds for charity by auctioning a limited-edition Miss Thailand 2019 crown pin decorated with Swarovski crystals. The pin, a rare historical collectible from the year Thailand won its first Miss International title, will support the 'Do Good Organization' founded by former Miss Thailand Bum Panadda. Proceeds will aid volunteer efforts in public hospitals and emergency relief planning.
In an era where social progress demands vision, innovation, and a spirit of giving, Tao — Chanipa Na Nakhon (Wanrak Na Nakhon), an image management expert and behind-the-scenes figure for national organizations, continues to drive volunteer work for society. She shares knowledge from her professional experience and scientific expertise, carrying out volunteer activities in public hospitals, serving as a volunteer and guest lecturer training nursing students at Vajira Hospital in post-mortem care for indigent patients in the Bangkok hospital network. She has also been invited to attend training with the Civil Affairs Department of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters to help plan emergency assistance for the public. Recently, Tao Chanipa launched a new fundraising project by presenting a historically valuable beauty pageant collectible: the 'Miss Thailand 2019 Limited Edition crown pin adorned with Swarovski crystals,' placed in a silk box, to be made into a symbol of passing on beauty and inspiration. This crown pin is exceptionally rare and historically significant, having been produced in 2019 for the Miss Thailand pageant, the year that Binta Sireethor Lee-aramwatt won the crown and became Thailand’s first Miss International titleholder. The pin was authorized by the Wachirawut College Alumni Association under royal patronage, resulting in a limited-edition masterpiece featuring a silver crown encrusted with Swarovski crystals surrounding a golden symbol. The project combines knowledge, art, and volunteer spirit, with proceeds supporting the charitable organization 'Do Good Organization' founded by Miss Thailand 2000, Bum Panadda, under the slogan 'Miss Thailand family never abandons each other.' Tao invites organizations, business partners, pageant fans, and collectors to join in transforming this historical value into a powerful force of giving for Thai society, sending encouragement to Bum and her volunteer team, and reaching fellow Thais in need through the senior Miss Thailand, Bum Panadda.
