The Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara is coordinating efforts to locate Hloong Soloh, a well-known Thai travel YouTuber who has been missing in Georgia for over 10 days. The agency has released a timeline of his movements, and Thai nationals in Georgia are posting search appeals online.
Hloong Soloh's family reported him missing after he lost contact over 10 days ago while traveling in Georgia. His last confirmed contact was on July 13. The Drama-addict Facebook page has been helping to circulate missing person notices, noting that Thai residents in Georgia are coordinating with authorities. They are requesting his full legal name, passport number, and flight details, and asking anyone with contact information for his relatives to reach out.
One Facebook user commented that the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara is actively coordinating with relevant Georgian agencies. Thai volunteers appointed by the embassy have connected relatives with consular officials to provide personal information. An agency representative who had been in contact with Hloong before he went missing has provided his brother with a timeline showing he planned to travel in Georgia and Armenia between July 5-10, before heading to Chiang Mai in August. It is possible he may have traveled to Armenia during the period when contact was lost.
Thai residents in Georgia have joined forces to post search appeals on local Georgian pages in hopes that someone may have seen him or can provide information to help locate and safely bring him home.
