Thailand Badminton Star Recovers, Set for Asian Games
World No. 6 badminton player Ratchanok Intanon says her back injury is nearly healed and she will compete at the upcoming Asian Games in Japan.
Ratchanok Intanon, the world's sixth-ranked badminton player, posted on her personal Facebook revealing that her injury is improving and she is prepared to compete at the Asian Games in Japan later this month.
Ratchanok recently completed her campaign at the China Masters 2026, a World Tour Super 750 event with a total prize pool of around 41.875 million baht in Shenzhen, China, after being eliminated in the round of 16 on September 3.
In her latest post on personal Facebook, Ratchanok wrote: "See you again at the Asian Games. My back is feeling much better and is almost fully recovered. Everything is proceeding according to plan. At the very least, I got to face international opponents and feel the competition atmosphere once more. Thank you all for the support."
