The Ministry of Culture opened an exhibition titled "Siriphin, National Artists, and National Artists of 2567" to honor those who have created and preserved Thailand's artistic and cultural heritage while inspiring younger generations. Sarasnun Anannoppaporn, Secretary to the Minister of Culture, presided over the ceremony, which featured the biographies and works of honorees in recognition of National Artists Day. The exhibition also paid tribute to Thailand's royal patrons of the arts, including the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej as the "Master Artist" and Queen Sirikit as the "Royal Patron of Arts" for their lifelong dedication to preserving Thai arts and culture.
The ceremony additionally honored Princess Chulabhorn Walailak as a new Siriphin. Ten newly designated National Artists of 2567 were recognized across various disciplines: visual arts including painter Pong Sengking, architect Vivat Temiyapan, and ceramicist Somsuks Pantiboon; literature represented by Rewat Panpipat; and performing arts featuring musicians Nuraphon Duriyapan and Danu Huntrakul, dancer-actor Pokorn Pornpisut, folk singer Praphat Jantpleng, and actress Nanthawan Mekyai Suwannipiya. The free exhibition runs from July 21-31, 2569 (weekdays 9 a.m.–4 p.m., extended to 8 p.m. on July 22 and 31) at the Thai Cultural Center multipurpose building.
