Three Chefs Compete to Create Healthy Pork Leg Rice
Three chefs compete to create a healthy version of pork leg rice on a new ThaiHealth cooking show airing Monday at 6 PM on Channel 7HD, judged by nutrition experts and food critics to promote better eating habits.
The cooking competition "Flavor Exchange Money" presents a formidable challenge: three chefs must transform the popular pork leg rice into a diet-friendly, disease-preventing meal. The contestants — Chef Visa Wannawisa from The Restaurant War Thailand Season 1, Chef Patchara Naphasanat from Season 2, and Chef Yok Luan Jitrada, a Season 2 top-five finalist — must apply all their culinary skills and creativity to produce a healthy version that remains delicious and appealing.
A panel of judges will scrutinize every step, led by food critic M.L. Pasan Sawasdiwat, ThaiHealth's Social Marketing Communication Director Supattarachai Sondamrit, nutritionist Associate Professor Wewta Ekachawan, and Chef Off himself. They will evaluate taste, creativity, and nutritional appropriateness.
The show, produced by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) in collaboration with Channel 7HD and Heliconia H Group, airs Monday, November 2 at 6:00 PM on Channel 7HD (digital channel 35), with catch-up available on Netflix and the CH7ON website and app. The initiative encourages Thais to pay more attention to their diets, especially working-age people whose hectic lifestyles often lead to unhealthy one-plate meal choices.
