Three people were rushed to hospital after eating online‑ordered snacks suspected of containing cannabis, including a two‑year‑old boy. On the evening of October 14, rescue workers from the Khung Mun Foundation Ping Lai Ko 2 responded to two unconscious individuals—a man and a woman—who had eaten an unknown snack believed to be cannabis jelly in Moo 6, Bo Werlu, Khung District, Chanthaburi. The victims comprised a 26‑year‑old man in critical condition, a 19‑year‑old woman also seriously ill, and a lethargic two‑year‑old boy. The family said they had bought the treats via social media, and the packaging lacked any brand or name. After consumption they suffered severe symptoms before rescuers arrived. All three are now improving but remain under close medical supervision.
