TKS Swings to 1,311% Profit Jump in Q2
TKS Technology's net profit surged 1,311% in the second quarter to 168.9 million baht, driven by profit shares from associate companies and growth in high-margin security solutions and platform technology businesses.
TKS Technology reported stellar second-quarter results with net profit attributable to shareholders of 168.9 million baht, up 1,311% from the same period last year, and sales and service revenue of 415 million baht, up 26%. The company's CEO Suphan Mongkolsutee credited the strong performance to recognition of profit shares from associate companies, growth in high-potential businesses, and efficient cost management. For the first half of 2025, TKS posted net profit of 320.5 million baht, up 266% year-on-year, with operating net profit of 135.9 million baht, up 52.5%. The company recognized 171 million baht in profit shares from associate investments, up 142.3%, while revenue from sales and services stood at 829.1 million baht, up 16.9%. Gross profit margin improved to 38.5% from 35.4% a year earlier, supported by higher-margin security solutions and platform technology businesses. The company's board approved an interim dividend of 0.12 baht per share, with a record date of August 19, 2025, and payment on September 4, 2025. Looking ahead, TKS aims for double-digit revenue growth in 2025 while maintaining a gross profit margin of approximately 35%. The company plans to expand digital technology, e-commerce, logistics, platform technology, and investment businesses under its vision as a "Tech Ecosystem Builder" pursuing "Technology for the future."
