The Ministry of Justice has ordered the immediate suspension of two Department of Special Investigation (DSI) officers implicated in a local government examination corruption scheme. The investigation into those involved in the corruption of local authority examinations has uncovered evidence that two DSI officers, holding the ranks of special investigator and investigator, acted as intermediaries in receiving and transferring money from a network of brokers before being taken into custody.
On September 11, the Justice Ministry instructed the DSI director to implement civil service procedures immediately against the two officers.
