Volvo Car Thailand has issued a clarification letter regarding the fire incident involving a Volvo XC60 Plug-in Hybrid model. Following the fire incident involving a 2018 Volvo XC60 Plug-in Hybrid on Highway M81, Volvo Car (Thailand) Limited conducted a preliminary investigation based on images from the scene and information gathered from people at the site. Based on this investigation, the company found that the heat and fire were not caused by the high-voltage battery area.
