Woman Buys Fried Chicken from Market, Opens Package to Find It Crawling with Maggots

A woman's evening meal took a disturbing turn when she purchased fried chicken from a night market and discovered white maggots infesting multiple pieces of the food. On May 25, 2025, a Facebook user shared a video account of a disturbing experience, stating she had gone to the night market to buy food to eat at Ang Sab Pradoo reservoir. When she was about to give the fried chicken to her child, she discovered something strange—white objects inside the food. In the video, she expressed shock, saying "I just bought this from Khlong Thom Market, this ruined our evening." The fried chicken was purchased from a vendor at Khlong Thom Market in Ang Sab Pradoo, Mitraphap District, Si Khiu District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. When opened, the chicken piece was found to be crawling with white maggots, and upon examining other pieces, she discovered the same infestation in multiple pieces. The incident was so severe that she lost her appetite for the picnic meal she had planned at the reservoir and described it as the worst experience she had encountered, leaving her feeling disgusted. The poster explained that she did not immediately return to the vendor because she had already driven to the eating spot and set up her food, and it was getting dark with parking concerns.
