Yod IQ Captures ONE Bantamweight Title

At ONE Championship: The Inner Circle 30 held at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium (Rama Intra), defending champion Rambo Lek from Chaiyaphum faced rising Buriram fighter Yod IQ in a bantamweight world title bout for the vacant title.

Rambo Lek failed to make weight and was stripped of his champion status. Should he win, the title would remain vacant; if Yod IQ won, he would become champion. Rambo Lek also agreed to pay a weight penalty to his opponent.

Over all five rounds, both fighters exchanged intense combinations with neither giving ground. The judges ultimately raised Yod IQ's hand in a decision victory, making him the new ONE Muay Thai Bantamweight World Champion.

In the co-main event, Seksorn from Nakhon Si Thammarat fought his farewell bout against longtime rival Muang Thai PK Sanchai from Buriram under bantamweight rules. Both came out swinging in round one with full arsenals of punches and elbows. Late in the round, Seksorn was caught by Muang Thai's left hand and sent down for an eight-count. In round two, Seksorn pressed forward with repeated elbow attacks while his leg grew wet with blood, but Muang Thai continued to fight back with sharp combinations. In round three, Muang Thai landed a leg sweep followed by a left elbow, dropping Seksorn. The referee stopped the bout, giving Muang Thai a knockout victory in round three.

Another notable bout featured Saeng Aatit against Logan Chan from Scotland under bantamweight rules. The first round saw both exchange techniques, but from round two onward Logan Chan took control with crisp punches and elbows while Saeng Aatit appeared to slow down noticeably. By round three, both came out for an intense exchange, but Saeng Aatit took an elbow that opened a cut over his left eye. The judges awarded the decision victory to Logan Chan.

In another bout, Ferrari Fairfax defeated Brazil's Julio Lobo by decision under bantamweight Muay Thai rules.
