Ja Praow Releases New Single About Love and Joy

Singer Ja Praow Petch has released her new single "I Can Smile Because of You (Your Light)" following her debut track "Not Your Girlfriend." While her first song explored unrequited love and secret feelings, this new release shifts perspective to celebrate love found when the heart meets happiness and brightness. Producer Mac Sarun handled production, composition, arrangement, and vocal direction, maintaining Ja's signature brightness and authenticity throughout. The song's standout hook—"I can smile because of you"—delivers a simple yet powerful message about how someone or something can bring light and meaning to our lives. Ja explained that while the phrase is straightforward, it captures how grateful we feel when someone becomes the light in our world, and "you" in the song could refer to a person, a passion, or anything that makes us smile.

The accompanying music video tells the story of a shy girl who joins a drama club and meets a male friend who constantly brings her joy through club activities. As a stranger gradually becomes someone important, she finds the courage to be herself. On performance night, she discovers that her true "prince" may not be on stage but has been beside her all along. Actor Boom Sathaporn plays the male lead, showcasing growing chemistry and a relationship that blossoms alongside the character's smiles.

The production brought together quality teams from Thailand and South Korea, including recording engineer Bright Kritsanapon at Lakeside Village Studio, mixer Tarin Paul, and mastering engineer Park Jung-un at Honey Butter Studio in South Korea.
