Lt. Cdr. Vichai Ratchanon, head of the Kraduk Lek Ratchanon team, filed a complaint with Bang Khen police after a boxer in his stable said he was approached to take a dive for 100,000 baht. The 13‑year‑old rising star Kraduk Lek Ratchanon decided to fight his best and won on points against Kaekarat K. Adisak in the Muay Mun San Na Mueang x P. Luk Boon event at the Rangsit International Boxing Stadium. After the bout, Kraduk Lek told Vichai that a fellow camp boxer had verbally offered him 100,000 baht to throw the fight in the third round or simply take a dive, and that he had been pressured and threatened throughout the match because he refused the money and did not cooperate. Lt. Cdr. Vichai then took Kraduk Lek to the Bang Khen Metropolitan Police Station to file a formal report. Vichai said that after filing the complaint, on October 14 he went to the Office of the Boxing Commission of the Sports Authority of Thailand to request that the person who made the offer be summoned for questioning and that criminal charges would follow. He added that the individual who made the offer had only been with the team for a month, having been introduced by a senior figure, and that he had never suspected such behaviour despite knowing the person had done similar things before. Vichai praised Kraduk Lek, a young boxer from Pak Phanang, for his strong spirit, noting that even while the person urging him to lose stood in his corner and pressured him each round, the teenager repeatedly said he would not throw the fight and fought hard to win. Vichai said he had already informed the Sports Authority of Thailand about the incident and would continue to monitor developments.
