Muay Thai Trainer Rages Over Alleged Scorecard Swap, Police Intervene
A Muay Thai trainer in Nakhon Ratchasima stormed the ring and accused judges of swapping scorecards after his fighter was awarded a draw instead of a win. The outburst triggered a heated confrontation with spectators, forcing police to intervene and calm the situation. The trainer later went live online, alleging the scorecards were altered under the stage and demanding transparency.
The incident occurred during the 'Amnat Rachasih x Nakrob Baddan' fight card at the Suranaree Muay Thai camp in Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima, on November 6. The bout between Hurrican PK.Tingnot Paedriw (red corner) and Phet Dam T. Kaeoyutthana (blue corner) ended in a draw. After the decision was announced, Phra Jan Chai, who was in the red corner, erupted when he spotted what he believed was judges swapping scorecards under the stage. He stormed the ring, screaming for transparency and insisting his fighter had won every round. Police had to intervene to control the chaos. Later, Phra Jan Chai went live on social media, urging people to share the footage and alleging that after the judges collected the scorecards, they were taken away and changed under the stage. He claimed his fighter won every round and that 30,000 baht was bet on the championship.
