On July 21, 2569, police from Si Racha Station in Chon Buri province received a report at 5:30 p.m. on July 20 of a person falling from the eighth floor of a condominium. Officers, investigators, and rescue personnel from Sawang Prachip Si Racha responded to the scene near the condominium grounds, where they found an unconscious 16-year-old female student of Myanmar nationality studying at a prominent school. She suffered a deformed fracture of her left arm, a deformed fracture of her right leg, and abrasions across her face. Paramedics provided initial treatment before transferring her to hospital for further care. A damaged Honda Wave 110 motorcycle registered in Chon Buri was also found at the scene.

According to witness interviews, a man identified as Mr. B stated that he had spoken with the victim's friends, who said she had been stressed about upcoming exams and personal problems before the fall from the condominium's eighth floor. However, he acknowledged uncertainty about the exact cause of the incident. Authorities conducted an initial inspection of the scene and interviewed witnesses. The victim remains under medical observation, and a detailed statement will be taken once her condition improves to determine the true cause of the incident.

Bangkok Governor Nai Chatchat Sittiphan received an outstanding anti-corruption award on July 20 at Bangkok City Hall from a delegation of the Anti-Corruption Foundation led by Lieutenant General Theeradej Chatsethiapongse and Dr. Nattanya Pattanavanichnan. The foundation recognized Chatchat for his commitment to honest, transparent governance and efforts to transform Bangkok's operations into a digital system to reduce official discretion and improve public services. The administration has also published government data for public oversight, integrated artificial intelligence technology to enhance corruption case monitoring, and encouraged affiliated agencies to adopt ISO 37001 anti-bribery management standards to strengthen governance and reduce corruption risk. The foundation praised Bangkok's use of the Traffy Fondue platform as an effective corruption reporting channel and expressed hope that Bangkok will win the outstanding anti-corruption organization award next year. In 2026, five individuals were selected to receive this honor award, which recognizes organizations and people of integrity, honesty, transparency, and volunteering who actively promote anti-corruption and serve as role models for good governance. The Surin Secondary Education Area Office has defended a planned Laos tour costing 8,500 baht per person, stating that all participants are volunteering and funding the trip themselves with no connection to government budget. An anti-corruption Facebook page had alleged that school principals were being required to join the tour, scheduled for July 24-27, and were being told not to use official travel authorization, with each person paying 8,500 baht.

Surin SEAO director Chavalit Jencharin clarified that the activity is not an official government function but rather an event organized by the Surin Secondary School Administrators Association and uses no state budget. As a result, the education office does not permit official travel documentation; administrators wishing to participate must use personal leave. Prince of Songkhla University has signed research cooperation agreements with over 30 partner organizations under the "Hat Yai Model Plus" project to integrate knowledge, research, technology, and innovation to enhance flood preparedness in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, under the concept "Countdown to a Disaster-Ready Hat Yai."

Hat Yai District serves as an economic, educational, medical, transport, and tourism hub for Southern Thailand, but faces recurring flooding from geography, urban expansion, and climate change impacts. The Hat Yai Model Plus uses science, research, and innovation to improve integrated disaster management through four main initiatives: (1) a real-time flood early warning system integrating rainfall forecasting, hydrological modeling, and artificial intelligence for the Klang U-Taphao watershed; (2) a public health information network center for emergency and disaster management; (3) development of smart shelters for flood response; and (4) community strengthening programs.

All projects receive support from the Office of the Committee for the Promotion of Science, Research and Innovation (PCSRI) and funding from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

The cooperation agreement represents a joint commitment by over 30 government, academic, local government, water resource, disaster prevention, public health, business, industry, and community organizations. Rather than a symbolic signing, it represents genuine integration through shared data, coordinated planning, system development, resource exchange, and cross-sector collaboration to build an efficient and sustainable flood management system.

Following intense public criticism after Looksaikongdin Gym suspended boxer Zaidania Looksaikongdin's fighting rights, Zaidania posted a detailed clarification on July 20, 2025.
