Thailand's Meteorological Department has issued a 24-hour weather forecast predicting scattered thunderstorms nationwide with heavy rainfall expected in the northern region, driven by an intensifying southwest monsoon system across the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. Northern residents are warned to watch for dangers from heavy and accumulated rainfall.

Bangkok and its metropolitan area will experience thunderstorms in 30% of the area, mainly from afternoon to evening, with temperatures ranging from 27–28°C (low) to 34–37°C (high). The central region, covering Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi, and Saraburi, will see 30% thunderstorm coverage with lows of 23–26°C and highs of 33–37°C.

The eastern region will experience thunderstorms in 30% of the area around Nakhon Nayok, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat, with temperatures from 23–28°C (low) to 33–37°C (high). Sea conditions will feature waves 1–2 meters high, rising above 2 meters in thunderstorm areas. The eastern southern region, including Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, will have 30% thunderstorm coverage with temperatures from 23–26°C (low) to 33–36°C (high), with 1-meter waves offshore and 2+ meter waves in storm zones.
