90s Star Pim Sasa Finds Mom's Gold Scraps Worth 1.9 Million
90s singer Pim Sasa and her mother melted down gold scraps at a Saraburi shop. The pieces turned out
On October 31, 2026, 90s singer-actress Pim Sasa, also known as Pimmada Borirak Supakorn, brought her mother to the Namo Ban Chang Thong shop in Saraburi province to melt down gold scraps her mother had collected — pieces of earrings and amulet frames. After melting everything together into several gold bars, the shop owner Namo explained that the gold was only 78% purity, which many gold shops would refuse to buy or offer low prices for. He advised converting it into standard gold bars so it could be sold at market value. When asked for their estimates, the mother thought it might fetch 90,000 baht while Pim guessed around 70,000 baht. Namo then calculated the true value at 1,910,241 baht, leaving mother and daughter shocked at the unexpected windfall.
