Actress Chompoo Proud As Son Wins Go-Kart Championship

Actress Chompoo Araya brought her children—Lightning, Typhoon, Abigail, and grandmother Nhing—to "The Grand Celebration of Happitat: The Magical Destination of Happiness" event at Festie Town Happitat on Bangna-Trat Road, kilometer 7, where she opened up about her son Typhoon's recent youth go-kart racing championship win. She expressed joy at seeing his determination and effort rewarded, and acknowledged that all sports carry risk. She mentioned that he has crashed and flipped out of the kart during practice sessions, but said she trusts that his equipment meets proper safety standards. She teaches him to fight until the final second and to accept both victories and defeats as lessons.

Regarding the viral morning livestream with her daughter, Chompoo explained that she understands children at that age have no filter when speaking. She plans to use it as a teaching moment about communication and self-expression, but has no intention of starting a regular show, as even morning livestreams require the right timing and mood.

When asked about defending the championship, Chompoo said there are still two more races this season and another in October where points will be collected. She noted that all the young racers competing are skilled, with only small margins separating them. She emphasized teaching her son that sports involve both winning and losing, and that losing provides an important learning experience.

Concerning the viral moment when her daughter made an unfiltered comment, Chompoo smiled and said it happened during a break in the event coverage. She acknowledged it is natural behavior for a child that age with no social filter, and used it as a teaching opportunity. When asked if she plans to produce a regular show, she declined, saying that even casual morning livestreams require the right emotional state and timing, which she cannot guarantee consistently.
