Deputy Provincial Police Commander Phumipanya Nawatrakul of Lampang, along with officers from the Sabprab Subdistrict Police Station, inspected a convenience store robbery inside a petrol station in Moo 1, Mae Kua Subdistrict, Sabprab District, Lampang, which occurred at 3:55 AM.

Initial investigation revealed that a lone male suspect used a firearm to threaten and force a female employee to hand over approximately 5,000 baht in cash before fleeing the scene. The suspect wore a long-sleeved black shirt and knee-length denim jeans, and rode a Yamaha Grand Filano motorcycle, heading toward the Ban Wang Yao U-turn point.

Earlier the same day, the same suspect allegedly attempted to rob a gold shop in Hang Chat District but fled when he found the door locked. Police believe both incidents involve the same perpetrator, based on similarities in the suspect's appearance and the motorcycle used.
