Aytthem signals need to reset spokesperson team, backs 'Lisa' to take over, says she can make complex issues easy to understand
Former Thai Khadi Party spokesperson Prisat Wachasindu is stepping down after more than two years, endorsing fellow MP Phakamon Nunnanont to replace him, citing her ability to communicate complex issues clearly to the public.
On April 26, 2026, Prisat Wachasindu, a list-based MP and former spokesperson for the Thai Khadi Party, posted on Facebook stating that over the past 2-3 years, while serving as party spokesperson since the Krathin Rai Party period through the Thai Khadi Party, he has worked diligently based on three core principles: 1) emphasizing communication to build public trust through broad feedback, accurate information, consistent principles, and addressing public concerns; 2) transforming the spokesperson team's role from sole communicator to a support unit enabling other MPs and party members to communicate effectively on their areas of responsibility; and 3) working as a unified team that leverages individual strengths while maintaining message consistency across diverse communication formats to reach all segments of the public.
Prisat noted that given the dynamic political landscape and challenges around misinformation, the spokesperson team has identified numerous communication tasks requiring acceleration and improvement since the election. He has consequently requested a personnel change from party leadership and spent two months planning the transition. Prisat expressed genuine pleasure in handing over the spokesperson duties and leadership to Ms. Phakamon Nunnanont, a list-based MP and current party spokesperson. He highlighted that he has worked closely with her since joining Krathin Rai Party in 2022 and has learned much from her. Her ability to simplify complex issues and reach a broad audience is evident to anyone following her debates and work. Prisat concluded: "Moving forward, as the party undertakes deep intellectual work on critical issues and intensifies efforts to energize supporters, persuade the undecided, and win over skeptics, I believe Khun Phakamon will be a vital force for the Thai Khadi Party in improving this nation. I thank all my colleagues in the spokesperson team, the party for its trust, and the media for the opportunity to work together."
