Bang Khen Police Station returned over 1.3 million baht to victims of an organized fraud gang that tricked them into investment schemes. On August 19, 2025 at 08:00, under the Royal Thai Police Money Cash Back initiative, senior leadership including Lieutenant General Siam Bunsom directed Bang Khen Station and its online crime unit to present the recovered funds.

The victims had fallen prey to a sophisticated scam in which criminals posed as investment partners, convincing them to send money and resulting in substantial financial losses. The victims filed complaints with Bang Khen Station's investigators.

After investigation and asset tracing, police successfully recovered a total of 1,299,000.78 baht and returned it to the victims. The victims expressed gratitude to Bang Khen Station officers for their diligent work in recovering the stolen funds and pursuing the suspects for criminal prosecution.
