Bangkok Expressway Toll Rates Increase From December 15
Toll rates on Bangkok's expressway network will increase starting December 15, with four-wheeled vehicles paying 80 baht per passage on routes including the Prachuap Khiri Khan Expressway.
The Royal Gazette published a Transport Ministry announcement on September 15, 2026, establishing the Prachuap Khiri Khan Expressway as a toll route and setting new toll rates effective December 15, 2026. The Thai Special Highway Committee approved the new rates at its eighth meeting on July 14, 2026, following the concession agreement for investment, design, construction, management, and maintenance of the Sri Racha-Outer Ring Road Expressway project in Bangkok. Under the Transport Minister's proclamation, all vehicles specified in the attached vehicle category list must pay tolls at designated toll collection points. Users of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Expressway who access the Sri Racha Expressway (Sai Ekkhamai-Bang Khlo and Phaya Thai-Si Nakharin routes) or the Chulalongkorn Expressway (Din Daeng-River Port, Bangna-River Port, and Daw Kamanong-River Port routes) must pay tolls at the Bang Soi 2 toll plaza according to rates set by the Transport Ministry. Vehicles with four wheels or fewer are charged 80 baht per passage, with the new announcement revoking the previous 2564 toll rate proclamation issued on November 18, 2021.
