Man Fires Gun in Air at Entertainment Venue in Rayong
A man fired a gunshot into the air outside an entertainment venue in Rayong early September 15 after taking offense to not being greeted at a nearby restaurant; police are tracking three suspects who fled in a white pickup truck.
At 2:15 a.m. on September 15, 2025, Kaeng Police Station received a report of someone firing a gun outside a well-known entertainment venue in Muang Kaeng subdistrict, Rayong province. Fortunately, there were no injuries or deaths. At the scene, police found the victim, Kittipan, and his friends waiting to give statements. Initial investigation identified three suspects: Poo, who was driving and fired the gun; Nan; and M, all from Chamchod subdistrict, Khao Chamao district, Rayong. After the incident, they fled in a white pickup truck with a cab toward Wang Chan district.
Kittipan stated that Poo was unhappy because Kittipan had not greeted Poo's father while sitting and chatting with friends at a restaurant. Poo then drove the white pickup truck with a cab to the location, parked double, blared loud music repeatedly to cause a disturbance, and then drew a gun and fired one shot into the air as a threat before speeding away toward Wang Chan district.
Investigating officers from Kaeng Police Station are currently tracking closed-circuit camera footage along the escape route to gather evidence, request an arrest warrant, and pursue legal proceedings against the suspects.
