Gold prices rose 150 baht on September 15, 2026, according to the Gold Traders Association's latest market update posted at 9:01 a.m. Ornamental gold bars were quoted at 68,550 baht per unit for retail sale, up from the previous day's close. Gold bullion prices were set at 67,550 baht per unit for buyback and 67,750 baht per unit for retail sales. For 96.5% ornamental gold, buyback prices stood at 66,203.72 baht per unit with retail sales at 68,550 baht. International spot gold prices were trading at 4,305 US dollars per ounce. Gold traders predict prices may jump 1,000–2,000 baht per unit when markets open tomorrow, potentially breaking through the 80,000-baht level.
