Three Teens on Motorcycle Crash; One Dead, One Injured
A 13-year-old boy died and a 14-year-old was injured after a motorcycle carrying three teenagers crashed on Sukhumvit Road in Chachoengsao on September 14; the driver fled the scene without assistance.
On the evening of September 14, Na Jomtien Police in Chachoengsao received a report of serious injuries on the shoulder of Sukhumvit Road heading toward Pattaya in Na Jomtien subdistrict, Sattahip district. Officers responded with rescue units from Sirikitti Naval Hospital and Sawang Rojanathammathan Foundation.
At the scene, two injured boys were found on the roadside. The first victim, a 14-year-old named A (alias), had severe abrasions across his body and face and was transported to Wat Yan Sangvara Hospital. The second victim, a 13-year-old named B (alias), had a head wound on the left side with a severe laceration above his eyebrow and was unconscious. Despite rescue workers performing CPR, he could not be saved and died at the scene.
Initial investigation revealed that three children were traveling together on a single Forza motorcycle. As they reached the accident location, the motorcycle lost control, causing the passengers to be thrown from the vehicle and sustain injuries. The driver then left the scene without stopping to check on his friends.
A second vehicle passed through the area shortly after, but authorities have not yet confirmed whether that vehicle was involved in striking the injured children. Police are continuing to investigate witness statements and review closed-circuit camera footage.
