Offshun Kittipat Champa, head of production company Domundi, spoke with reporters at a series blessing ceremony for "Mon Rak Hak Eली" at PHENIX Bangkok about actor Got Ittipat's withdrawal from the BL series "Mr. Passenger." Offshun admitted initial surprise but confirmed the decision was made cooperatively through discussion between both sides and their respective teams, emphasizing they understand each other's positions and respect fan feedback.

When asked if direct communication occurred between Offshun and Got, he explained that while not direct, both production and casting teams coordinated the conversation, reaching mutual agreement based on shared understanding. Offshun noted that as a pilot episode, much remains to be developed and refined, so while disappointed, they recognize the opportunity came at a stage before full filming. He stressed that strong feedback from viewers is common and should inform improvements rather than cause panic.

Regarding the casting search and timeline, Offshun indicated the full production schedule remains flexible, with the main adjustment being additional vetting of future cast members. He emphasized this is not about wrongdoing but rather understanding audience expectations. The production will continue gathering fan feedback to strengthen the final version, keeping elements that work well while implementing viewer suggestions for the actual production next year.
