Teenager's Last Money Stolen by Rider at Convenience Store
A delivery rider stole a teenager's food bag outside a Chon Buri convenience store on July 13, leaving the 17-year-old with his last cash gone and no money for meals.
Security cameras at a convenience store in the Maeung district of Chon Buri caught a male delivery rider stealing food from a motorcycle parked outside on July 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The rider pretended to shop inside, then drove his motorcycle next to the victim's bike and removed the hanging food bag before riding away. The 17-year-old victim, identified as Mr. A, explained that he had purchased sticky rice with pork and grilled chicken and hung the bag on the front of his motorcycle before entering the convenience store to buy water. When he emerged, the food was missing. After reviewing the store's security footage and identifying the thief, Mr. A lamented that the money he spent was his last remaining cash, which he had intended to use for a treat. With no money left to buy replacement food, he must now settle for instant noodles instead. He pleaded with the perpetrator, saying that everyone struggles financially, and the stolen meal might have been important to someone else.
