Bitkub Hands DSI Data on 100M Baht Gambling Transactions
Thai crypto exchange Bitkub has provided the Technology Crime Suppression Division with data on 49 customers whose cryptocurrency transactions worth approximately 100 million baht were linked to the online gambling site Shuffle. Eleven other licensed digital asset exchanges have also been summoned to submit information as part of the same investigation into illegal gambling flows.
Bitkub submitted information to the Technology Crime Suppression Division after discovering 49 customers' blockchain transactions worth about 100 million baht linked to the online gambling site Shuffle. Eleven other licensed digital asset exchanges are also scheduled to provide data.
At 2:00 p.m. on November 3, 2026, following a morning session where Bitkub Online Co., Ltd.'s legal team met with investigators from the Technology Crime Suppression Division, the company provided details on 49 customers' cryptocurrency transactions connected to the gambling website Shuffle.
Investigators revealed that Bitkub's legal team explained the financial transactions of 49 customers who sent cryptocurrency to Shuffle. Regarding Bitkub's public statement that it might not have been aware of every customer transaction destined for gambling sites, investigators said the evidence must be viewed holistically — particularly whether the majority of total transaction volume involved gambling, and whether Bitkub knew or should have known these were gambling-related financial flows.
Investigators also noted that Bitkub, as a service provider with many users, must know how many of its customers transact with gambling sites or scammers, which can be determined from user behavior. Today's session was only an information submission; Bitkub has not filed charges against customers who transacted with Shuffle. The data mainly covers customer counts, identities, and transaction values.
The Technology Crime Suppression Division has summoned 11 digital asset exchanges and trading centers, all licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission, to provide information on their operations as licensed digital asset exchanges and brokers.
According to reporters, the 11 exchanges have been scheduled as follows: On November 9, 2026, Orbix Trade Co., Ltd. and InnovestX Securities Co., Ltd. at 10:00 a.m.; on November 10, 2026, Gulf Binance Co., Ltd. at 1:00 p.m. All meetings will take place at Government Complex Building C, 9th floor, Technology Crime Suppression Division, Chaeng Watthana Road, Bangkok.
