Bus Carrying 30 Passengers Crashes Into Power Pole
An intercity bus carrying 30 passengers crashed into a power pole in Nakhon Ratchasima at 2:30 a.m., injuring five people. Police suspect the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
A Bangkok-to-Buriram intercity bus lost control and crashed into a power pole at 2:30 a.m. on August 24, 2569, near Nong Nok Kwak in Chakrajat District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The bus was carrying 30 passengers en route to Buriram when the accident occurred. Rescue officials from Chakrajat emergency services responded immediately to assist all passengers.
Upon examination, five passengers were found to have sustained minor injuries and received initial first aid treatment. The accident is believed to have been caused by the driver falling asleep, though police are continuing their investigation to determine the precise cause of the incident.
