The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has verified that all 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft in service domestically are unaffected by a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airworthiness directive issued following the discovery of cracks in the forward service door frame structure of some Boeing 737 MAX aircraft overseas.

After cross-checking the serial numbers of Thailand's 12 737 MAX 8 aircraft against the FAA's technical specifications and affected aircraft ranges, CAAT confirmed that none of the Thai-registered aircraft fall within the affected production line numbers. Consequently, no additional inspections or repairs are required, and the aircraft may continue normal operations.

CAAT will continue to monitor technical data, airworthiness directives, and safety measures from aviation authorities and aircraft manufacturers. The agency will also ensure that Thai operators strictly comply with airworthiness requirements to maintain civil aviation safety standards and passenger confidence.

The "100 Football Fields for Thai Youth Power" project, operating for 10 years under King Power Thailand, has announced the successful completion of all 100 international-standard artificial turf pitches, reaching across every region of the country including mountain zones, islands, border areas, and remote communities previously lacking sports facilities.

The 100 fields are designed as more than just football venues but as "spaces of hope" enabling diverse creative activities and community engagement. All pitches are seven-a-side international-standard artificial turf fields distributed nationwide: 13 in the North, 29 in the Northeast, 24 in the Central region, 10 in the East, 6 in the West, and 18 in the South.

Each field was constructed to international standards with safety, durability, and multiple uses in mind, accommodating education, training, competition, and community activities. The project exemplifies the football field's role as more than a sports space—as a place to build dreams, develop people, create opportunities, and strengthen communities. The 100th field was delivered to Pang Khane Pithaya School in Na Thad District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, a border-area school that previously faced limited exercise space and non-standard facilities due to rocky, hard terrain that restricted full-potential sports training and activities.

Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Supachai Sutthirphanphong held a press conference following the first meeting of the Sub-Committee on Trade Development, Tourism, and Community Economy in 2569, outlining a new economic framework aligned with government policy priorities in trade and services.
