Upon receiving the furniture, the driver noticed the sofas were abnormally heavy and detected a methamphetamine-like odor, prompting him to stop the vehicle along a road in Ban Pong Subdistrict and immediately alert authorities. Officers discovered three sacks containing 1.78 million methamphetamine pills concealed inside six sofas. Pol. Col. Yutthana confirmed that police are actively investigating and pursuing the drug trafficking network behind the shipment, while commending the conscientious driver for reporting his suspicious findings and enabling officers to intercept a massive drug haul.
