Thai Esports Stars Win Big at Ayutthaya Championship
Thai player CRM_CHEFSAMU won the eFootball Mobile championship at the Ayutthaya esports tournament on August 16, defeating fellow Thai competitor Teerat in the grand final to claim 125,000 baht.
Purachetr Phomsurinthon, known as CRM_CHEFSAMU, a Thai professional eFootball Mobile player, claimed the international championship title after defeating fellow Thai competitor Theerath Limpraphat, known as Teerat, in the grand final. The tournament, ESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 at Ayutthaya, was held at The Hall Convention Center in Ayutthaya City Park on August 16, with a total prize pool of 500,000 baht.
In the eFootball Mobile competition, CRM_CHEFSAMU and Teerat faced off in the grand final, with CRM_CHEFSAMU winning 2-1 to claim the championship and 125,000 baht in prize money. Teerat took second place and 50,000 baht, while Farich Lusman from Malaysia secured third place with 50,000 baht.
In the Street Fighter 6 competition, 17-year-old rising star Pasitr Phuttima, known as MCB.Ayane from Surat Thani province, delivered Thailand's best performance by securing third place and 50,000 baht in prize money after losing to Gabriel Saw from Singapore 1-4 in the lower bracket. The championship title went to Shin Yat Chiu from Hong Kong, who took home the trophy and 125,000 baht.
