Thailand Hosts First Eurovision Song Contest Asia in 2026
Thailand will host the first Eurovision Song Contest Asia on November 14, 2026, featuring representatives from 11 Asian countries competing at One Bangkok Forum in Bangkok.
Thailand is preparing to host the first-ever Eurovision Song Contest Asia on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at One Bangkok Forum in Bangkok, with the event broadcast to global audiences. The inaugural Asian competition will showcase songs and performances from representatives of 11 Asian countries, celebrating their music, identity, and culture on a shared international stage. The competition's hosts are Woody Milintachinda and Sirinya Bisshop, both renowned figures in Asian entertainment—Woody with over 20 years in broadcasting and as founder of the S2O Songkran Music Festival, and Sirinya with 30 years of experience in entertainment and fashion across Asia, as well as serving as UN Women's goodwill ambassador for the Asia-Pacific region. The competition follows the Eurovision spirit of "United by Music," aiming to connect audiences across cultures through song. Four countries have already selected their entries through national selection processes: Bhutan, the Philippines, South Korea, and Laos, while Malaysia has chosen its artist with the song to be announced later. Additional Asian nations are conducting their own national selection rounds ahead of the Grand Final.
