Pachapol Tan Jing, an investigator at Muang Chanthaburi Police Station, received a report of a suspicious object resembling a hand grenade hidden inside an abandoned building on Chanthanimit 5 Lane in Muang District, Chanthaburi Province. Police coordinated with the explosive ordnance disposal team from Chanthaburi Provincial Police to investigate and recover the item.
When officers arrived, they found a greenish-brown spherical object that closely resembled an M67 hand grenade, complete with a fuse, safety ring, and lever.
