National Housing Authority Leases Pattaya Land for Sports Club
Thailand's National Housing Authority is leasing over 5 rai of land in Pattaya for 15 years to develop a sports club with swimming pool and tennis courts, with bids due October 22 starting at 4.7 million baht.
The National Housing Authority is inviting investors to submit proposals for a 15-year lease on over 5 rai of land in Pattaya Community Housing Project Phase 2 to develop a sports club, swimming pool, tennis courts, and parking facilities, with the goal of increasing property value, creating jobs, generating revenue, and stimulating the local economy.
Taveepong Wichaydist, Director-General of the National Housing Authority, stated that the organization prioritizes managing its assets for maximum benefit to create added value, jobs, and income for the public and communities. The lease covers land and structures in Pattaya Community Housing Project Phase 2 in Na Jomtien Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chon Buri Province, for the operation of a sports center, commercial trade, and related businesses over a 15-year period.
"Using our existing assets to their full potential not only generates revenue for the organization but also opens opportunities for investment, employment, and money circulation in the local economy, improving quality of life and boosting vitality in the Pattaya area," said the Director-General. "This aligns with the National Housing Authority's strategy to improve asset management efficiency and strengthen the organization's financial security."
Interested parties must submit a minimum lease fee of 4,700,000 baht. Year 1 is rent-free; Years 2-3 require 150,000 baht monthly; Years 4-6, 180,000 baht; Years 7-9, 210,000 baht; Years 10-12, 270,000 baht; and Years 13-15, 330,000 baht monthly. A security deposit of 1,000,000 baht is required with the bid.
Proposals must be submitted on October 22, 2025, between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. at the Chon Buri Housing Authority Office, Branch 1, Na Jomtien Subdistrict, Sattahip District. Bids will be opened the same day from 11:45 a.m. onward.
The Director-General emphasized that this development aims to create mutual benefit among the organization, private sector, and community. Pattaya and surrounding areas have high potential in tourism, employment, industry, and economic activity, making investment there an opportunity to create jobs, generate income, increase area value, and stimulate the local economy long-term.
