Food & Hospitality Thailand 2026 Showcases Latest Hygiene Solutions

Informa Markets points to emerging trends in hotel, restaurant, and hospitality marketing that spotlight green hygiene and intelligent technology, transforming sanitation from a behind-the-scenes issue into a powerful marketing tool. The Food & Hospitality Thailand (FHT) 2026 expo will present cutting-edge hygiene solutions as travelers and consumers increasingly prioritize cleanliness before selecting services. Hotels, restaurants, and hospitality providers are revolutionizing their approach by combining hygiene standards with eco-friendly and smart technology trends to build consumer confidence and trust. Informa Markets is highlighting the Hospitality Cleaning Supplies & Equipment zone as one of eight major exhibition areas, featuring innovations and solutions from global technology leaders.

Suphabhorn Angsrisurpon, senior project management director at Informa Markets Thailand and organizer of FHT, explained that post-COVID, sanitation standards in business establishments have been significantly elevated. Hygiene, once considered a purely operational matter, has become a marketing asset and branding tool that reinforces safety and trustworthiness, helping attract tourists and customers seeking reliable, secure services. Hygiene solutions are evolving to align with global trends by combining sustainable innovations with modern technology—Green & Smart Hygiene—reducing chemical use, protecting the environment, and improving cost efficiency simultaneously.

Notable green hygiene trends include chemical-free cleaning innovations such as smart ozone water technology that converts tap water into ozone for disinfection, which is safer and more effective than chlorine while naturally breaking down into water and oxygen. High-temperature steam cleaning systems use pressure to remove grease and kill germs on kitchen surfaces and equipment while reducing water consumption by 90-95%. Microbial cleaning solutions decompose dirt and eliminate odors safely. Smart technology for sustainability includes AI-powered and robotic cleaners that reduce labor, precisely calculate water and detergent usage to minimize waste, and energy-efficient industrial laundry systems using low temperatures with concentrated, eco-friendly detergents.

Food & Hospitality Thailand (FHT) 2026 serves as a hub connecting all segments of the tourism, hotel, food and beverage, restaurant, retail, spa, and service industries. One of eight primary zones, Hospitality Cleaning Supplies & Equipment, covers products from maintenance supplies to laundry equipment and functions as a Hygiene Solution Hub showcasing innovations, technologies, and solutions from global exhibitors. This year's expo features new hygiene solutions including advanced industrial smart laundry equipment from China that integrates automation, AI control, and energy-saving technology to boost efficiency, reduce resource use, and elevate laundry business operations—making its Thailand and ASEAN debut—as well as innovative modular housekeeping carts with advanced storage systems.
